Raymond James welcomes three Florida financial advisors managing $230 million in assets

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. – Raymond James recently welcomed financial advisors Mike Bedsole, CFP®, Michael Fenn and Ofer Levy to Raymond James & Associates (RJA) – the firm’s employee advisor channel – according to Bert White, Florida regional director for RJA.

The additions expand Raymond James’ foothold within the Sunshine State, with Bedsole and Levy leading wealth management groups in Destin and Aventura, respectively.

Operating as Bedsole Wealth Management Group of Raymond James, Bedsole and Fenn are joined by client service associate Serita Lindsey. Bedsole comes to Raymond James from Truist, with Fenn joining from Cetera Investment Advisors. Together, the group manages approximately $120 million in client assets.

“We were initially drawn to Raymond James because of its reputation as a company with a strong, foundational culture,” said Bedsole, vice president of investments. “The emphasis on supporting advisors with quality research and tools was what hooked us. Making a move like this should always be done with the intention of providing clients with the best possible financial guidance and service. We strongly feel that we’ve accomplished just that with the move to RJA.”

Raised in Fort Walton Beach, Florida, Bedsole began his career in 1995 in Bradenton with OLDE Financial Corp. After seven years with the company, he relocated back to Destin with SunTrust Investment Services, later Truist. He is a graduate of the University of West Florida, where he earned a degree in finance. He obtained his CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNERTM designation in 2003.

With more than 30 years of experience in the financial services industry, Fenn is committed to helping clients with their investment strategies. His lengthy career spans positions at companies from Lincoln Financial to Ameriprise. Fenn is a graduate of the University of Georgia where he received a bachelor’s degree in business administration.

Global wealth manager, Levy, joins Raymond James from Merrill Lynch, where he managed over $110 million in client assets. His team, operating as Ofer Levy | Raymond James, includes senior registered associates Helena Borges Fortes and Joseph G. Sacco, as well as Denise Martins, senior client service associate.

“I joined Raymond James to provide clients with more personalized services and attention, from high-net-worth clients to hard-working individuals investing in themselves. I was also looking for the right environment for my team – one that feels like a family-run business and where I would be treated as a business owner,” said Levy. “It looks like I found the right place with Raymond James.”

Levy has been active in the financial arena for the past 25 years, working across several financial firms until 2004 when he joined Edward Jones. In 2009, Levy transitioned to Merrill Lynch, where he remained for over 12 years. He is a graduate of The Technion, Israel Institute of Technology, with a BSC in Industrial and management engineering.
